The eligibility for MBBS abroad is set by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is straightforward. If you tick all the boxes below, you can pursue MBBS abroad and return to practise medicine in India after the FMGE / NExT exam.
- Age: 17 years completed before 31st December of the admission year.
- 12th Marks: Minimum 50% in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for General; 40% for Reserved category.
- NEET: NEET qualification is mandatory.
- English Proficiency: No IELTS / TOEFL required for most universities.
